Last week, I was delighted to attend the Plant Based World Expo at London’s Excel, and it was a feast for the senses!
As a recent newcomer to the workplace refreshments sector, I was eager to explore the latest trends in plant-based foods and drinks.
The event was a hub of innovation, with a dazzling array of vegan snacks, dairy alternatives, and sustainable drinks on display. It’s always interesting to speak to manufacturers who share Totally Tasty’s commitment to high-quality, healthy and ethically made products.
I always arrive at shows with an empty stomach and sampled an impressive range of treats—from plant-based cheeses to kombucha drinks. Finding new products that align perfectly with the preferences of our London-based clients is of huge value to us. Our customers tell us they value healthy and eco-conscious choices.
The expo reinforced my belief that plant-based options are no longer niche—they’re essential and enable our customers to cater for everybody’s preference and needs.
I left with some fresh ideas and a three new product lines that we will be showcasing early next year including vegan collagen bars, the most convincing tasty vegan crisps and drinks made with stinging nettles and brambles!
